angry people in the neighbourhood
Thursday, June 25, 2009

for the past few days, i keep hearing people screaming and throwing things around in my neighbourhood.

is it really necessary to show how angry you are by shouting excessively that everyone could hear?

or is it that our life is getting too stressful that we are getting nuts?

for that 1st question...i can say that it's unnecessary. why?

1st: it's a waste of breath
2nd: no matter how angry/sad you are you won't get a peace of mind unless you cool yourself down.
3rd: no matter how angry/sad you are you are still there. lol. nobody can help you except yourself. seriously.

i understood what it's like to be angry but i'd rather keep quiet if i'm having my negative feelings (eg.angry,sad,sian).

i'd like to be left alone at times though and just concentrate on other stuffs while sorting out my negative feelings. it's one my best remedies when i'm alone. other than that, sleeping helps.another way would be talking it out and be civilised no matter how bitter it feels like.or if one would be those religious kind, praying helps. it feels like yoga to me. stand up, read verse, iktidal, read verse,up and down and read verse etc...and at the end of it, "as your friend Tony would say,GREAT!"

Why do talented people die young?
Friday, June 5, 2009

I questioned myself why do talented people die young...such as P. Ramlee and Elvis Presley. Although these two mentioned are extremely differently people but they have the same talents...both are funny, act, plays the guitar and especially sing.

Frankly, I wasn't a big fan of Elvis Presley until I heard him singing Are you lonesome tonight...and as for P. Ramlee, he has always been my favourite since young.

The thing is I adore their voices...=x I can't think of anyone who sings like Elvis in my family but I'm sure that my late grandpa's voice was one of those who sounded like P. Ramlee that I adored since young. He playfully plays the organ to the tune of P. Ramlee's songs and one of his favourites D'Lloyd(indonesian singer)-Cinta Hampa. To me(and so does my siblings), my late grandpa reminded me of P. Ramlee and P. Ramlee reminded me of my late grandpa.

Somehow, I really wished I could go back in time and witnessed Elvis and P. Ramlee til they reached their stardom. As for my grandpa, I really wished he can see me grow up...

Anyway, the only guy with the deep voice that I can listen to repeatedly which still lives today is Michael Buble...I know he may only have got a few songs on his own...but still...he still sounds good ya know... =)
